A long, lively beach with resorts, bars and shopping. It is the most tourist-focused part of Samui. Costs lean higher close to the beach and drop inland.

Visa notes for long stays
- Your landlord or hotel must file a TM30 residence notification. Ask for a copy, because offices often want it for 90-day reports and extensions.
